EUROLESSON IN THE POLISH SCHOOL

The Polish school has recently made a contact with an institution called Europe Direct, whose nearest headquarters are in the town Piotrków Trybunalski. Because our school is involved in the European Comenius project for school (“Warm at Home”), we wanted to bring our students closer to the theme of Europe, and European Union. We wanted to show them what it means to live in united Europe and to be the European citizen. The lesson on 17th October 2013 went extremely well and both students and teachers benefited from it. We learned about countries, their customs and traditions, interesting facts concerning European capitals. All the participants received  European calendars. We hope to continue this co-operation. If you haven’t contacted them yet, do so in your country!
